Fire Hall No. 1 1908

In 1908, architect J.A. Macdonald was tasked to build a fire hall for the community. This new hall wore many hats such as the location of the Mayor's Office, City Council, and Police Headquarters, among many other services, until 1917 when these relocated, and it served solely as a fire hall until 1974. Since then, it has stood as a beautiful historical site with its bell and red brick walls, as well as the site of many downtown businesses throughout the years.
