This mural was originally commissioned as part of the two mural projects from Pavlenko, commissioned by the Downtown Business Revitalization Zone during efforts to add beautiful art pieces around downtown and the greater Lethbridge core. This mural depicts a great gale-force gusting cloud, doing everything he can to try and beat out the beautiful sounds of a trumpeter’s heart put into sound. The mural is placed befittingly near King of Trade, which houses one of Lethbridge’s largest and dearly beloved secondhand instrument store, the “Serious Music Centre.” The mural is an ode to the wind of the city, the music of the city, and how the two, at times, work together.
