Nectar Alley

This mural is located in one of downtown Lethbridge’s Historic alleyways and focuses specifically on a fine feathered friend that spends all year in Lethbridge! The bird is a Northern Flicker, a hole-dwelling bird known for its adaptability to any space it finds itself in, some of which are unusual or unexpected. The Northern Flicker reminds us to reflect on what any given space might mean to its inhabitants, and to be curious about the people who know this place as shelter.
