Try Hard To Learn & Iitsi’poyiit (Speak Blackfoot)

This vibrant mural on the TELUS building in downtown Lethbridge was created by Blackfoot artists Natoyihkii (Cheyenne McGinnis) and Nato’yi’kina’soyi (Hali Heavy Shield) as part of the city’s 5th Annual Reconciliation Week. Reflecting the theme Voice and Representation, the artwork celebrates the strength of women, showcases Blackfoot language, and brings colour and hope to the community. It serves as a visible reminder of Indigenous resilience and culture, inspiring pride, reflection, and connection for all who pass by.
